One Day Intensive Photography Workshop

Do you want to take your photography skills to next level? Do you feel stuck or that you just can't grasp a certain concept? Maybe you have recently decided you want to make a career out of photography and you don't really know where to begin? Or you have already started a photography business but you feel overwhelmed. Then this intermediate/advanced workshop is just for you.

This workshop is designed primarily for those who want to better understand how to work with clients, better comprehend how to work in various lighting situations, how to market themselves and how to price their services and products. For many of our past attendees, they said this particular workshop was their "lightbulb moment" or the key that got them "unstuck" and allowed them to move to their next level in their own individual photography path.

What's more, this class has just been revamped, which may make it a good fit for those that have taken the similar (but different!) class by Kim and Jen in the past. It now combines the all important business side of photography - critical to starting and operating a successful photography business.

For those who wish to take this class, you should already know how to adjust your camera to shoot manually, and understand in theory the fundamentals of ISO, aperture and shutter speed. (If you don't understand these fundamentals, we highly recommend our beginner workshop.) You will learn:

Several tips for lighting, creative composition, and posing
How to work with subjects and clients before, during and after the shoot
How to speed up your digital workflow and post-process more efficiently
    Recipes for successful portrait making
(NEW) MARKETING (branding, networking, getting published, getting your name out there, setting yourself apart, social media, and more)
(NEW) THE BUSINESS OF PHOTOGRAPHY (goal setting, effective workflow, post-processing, pricing your products and services for profit, paying taxes, setting up your company more)
(NEW) ALBUM DESIGN (tips for fast and efficient album design, companies to use, and more)
How to apply many of these concepts to a LIVE MODEL SHOOT!
In addition, after the live model shoot, you will have the opportunity to process your images via Adobe Lightroom with Jennifer and Kim and then share them with the class.
Both will offer hand-on guidance, and share useful tips for working with these programs.
Lastly, we'll have open Q&A time!
